The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported early Tuesday that Syrian air defenses intercepted "hostile targets" in the vicinity of Damascus.
The Syrian state television announced that one of its anchors was killed in a series of airstrikes targeting the capital and its surroundings.
