Prospects of a settlement in Lebanon: A green light for Hezbollah

Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the ongoing talks to reach a settlement in Lebanon have reached an advanced stage. It noted that US envoy Amos Hochstein is leading these efforts and plans to visit both Israel and Lebanon.
Additionally, Yedioth Ahronoth cited Western sources stating that Hezbollah agreed to separate the Lebanon issue from Gaza, indicating that Hezbollah received the green light from Iran to withdraw to north of the Litani River.
The report revealed that the new proposal includes a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah for 60 days and involves the deployment of the Lebanese army in the south. The Western sources also mentioned that UNIFIL forces will be reinforced and replaced by troops from German, French, and British nationalities.
