Municipality of Deir Mimas, Lebanese Army urge citizens to await guidance instructions before returning to town

Deir Mimas Municipality issued a statement, in coordination with the Lebanese Army, which stated that the town of Deir Mimas is still a security-critical area and subject to evacuation warnings. "Therefore, it is strictly prohibited for citizens to go to all agricultural lands and olive groves out of concern for their safety and under penalty of legal accountability," the statement added.
The Municipality assured citizens that is communicating with the security services and will follow up with the Lebanese army and the concerned authorities on all measures to facilitate their safe return to their beloved town at the specified time.
It indicated that it will successively inform citizens of all return procedures, reiterating that given the seriousness of the situation at the present time, it counts on the awareness and commitment of citizens to abide by safety instructions to ensure their wellbeing.
