Arab League chief from Grand Serail: I expect good things for Lebanon

Prime Minister Najib Mikati welcomed, at the Grand Serail, Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit, in the presence of AL assistance chief Hossam Zaki, among others.
“My visit to Lebanon today is to congratulate the Lebanese people, government, and president on the election of a new president,” said Aboul Gheit following the meeting.
“I am thrilled because I expect good things for the Lebanese state and people,” he added, hoping that a new prime minister will be designated today.
