Iraqi PM congratulates Berri on presidential election efforts

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received a phone call from Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, congratulating him on his efforts in facilitating the election of Lebanon's new president and in working to halt the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
In response, Berri expressed gratitude to Iraq, represented by its leadership, religious authorities, and people, for their continuous support for Lebanon, especially during the recent Israeli war, when Iraq provided refuge to displaced Lebanese.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of coordinating positions and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
