The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council are in Beirut

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya arrived in Beirut from Kuwait for a visit to Lebanon, during which he will meet with President Michel Aoun to congratulate him on his election.
He was welcomed at the airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government Abdallah Bou Habib, and the Charge d'Affaires of the Kuwaiti Embassy Yassin Al-Majed. The Kuwaiti minister will also have meetings with several Lebanese officials to discuss current developments.
Earlier this morning, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Al Budaiwi, also arrived in Beirut for meetings with officials.
