President Aoun to Financial Prosecutor: Anti-corruption efforts are key in my presidency

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun told Financial Prosecutor, Judge Ali Ibrahim, and his accompanying delegation that "fighting corruption is a fundamental task during my term. When the judiciary speaks, its word will be final." 

"I am your first shield, and your role is crucial in combating corruption. Do not yield to any pressures or interventions, regardless of the source,” President Aoun added.
