President Aoun emphasizes urgency of government formation

President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, confirmed ongoing consultations with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam stressing the urgent need to form a government that adheres to agreed principles and standards.
"I hope we are nearing the final stages of this process," President Aoun said, adding that Lebanon faces numerous opportunities, with many countries ready to offer assistance, contingent on government formation.
