President Aoun broaches security, southern developments with senior military and defense officials

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun held successive meetings with Acting General Security Director-General Major General Elias Baissari, Army Intelligence Director Brigader General Tony Kahwagi, Acting Army Commander Major General Hassan Audeh, and Secretary-General of the Higher Defense Council Major General Mohammad Al-Mustafa. 

Discussions focused on the country’s security situation, developments in the south, and the army’s deployment in border villages.
