President Aoun: Lebanon’s problem lies in law enforcement, not legislation

President Joseph Aoun stated that Lebanon’s issue is not with its laws but with their enforcement and the accountability of those who violate them.
The President made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the Tripoli Bar Association, led by its president, Sami Al-Hassan.
"The real challenge lies in the selective interpretation of laws based on personal interests," Aoun said.
"With individuals who believe in justice and accountability, we have hope in our collective ability to correct imbalances, combat corruption, and enforce accountability across all levels of society. This is a shared responsibility, not mine alone," the President concluded.
