Environment Minister discusses projects with international partners to address pressing challenges

Minister of Environment Tamara Elzein held a series of meetings with international partners and diplomatic missions to inform them of the ministry's priorities and plans regarding environmental and climate issues.
She emphasized the need to initiate projects that address pressing challenges such as air pollution, forest fires, monitoring the operation of wastewater treatment plants, and other issues.
These meetings included dozens of technical encounters with the World Bank, the European Union, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and United Nations agencies, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), FAO, UN OCHA, UNICEF, UNOPS, UN-Habitat, and ESCWA.
