According to its sources, MTV reported that a security meeting has been taking place at the Grand Serail for the past 20 minutes, focused on discussing the situation in the south, the developments in Beirut, and preventing the expansion of threats.
The meeting is attended by Defense Minister Michel Menassa, Intelligence Director Tony Kahwaji, the newly appointed Director-General of the State Security Agency Major General Edgar Lawandos, and the Secretary-General of the Higher Defense Council Mohammad Mustafa.
