Aoun during talks with Syrian President stresses need for coordination between both countries

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun stressed during a zoom meeting with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa, in the presence of French President, Emmanuel Macron, "the necessity of coordination between the two countries to address outstanding issues, especially the issue of the joint border."
President Aoun also stressed the "need to benefit from French assistance to find a swift solution to the issue of the return of displaced Syrians to their homeland so that they can live in dignity," adding that "any obstacles or difficulties can be resolved through cooperation."
