Aoun congratulates Lebanese on Eid al-Fitr

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun congratulated the Lebanese on Fitr Day, saying: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Lebanese, especially our Muslim citizens, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.”
“Lebanon’s only path to salvation is through unity, solidarity, and rising above selfishness and personal interests, as all divine religions teach,” President Aoun added.
“These values, along with the rule of law and justice, are the only way to fight corruption and implement the structural reforms our national institutions need,” Aoun went on.
The President indicated that Lebanon has now entered a new chapter in our country’s history, after decades of violence, wars, economic and financial crises, and state deterioration.
“There is no turning back. I remain fully committed to achieving what I pledged to the Lebanese people, hand in hand with the government, parliament, and civil society,” he underlined.
