Salam Condemns Attack on Dahiyeh, Calls for Clear Violation of Ceasefire Agreement

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned the Israeli aggression on the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahieyh), considering it a "blatant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which affirms Lebanon's sovereignty and integrity, as well as a clear breach of the arrangements for the cessation of hostilities reached last October."

He followed up on the consequences of this aggression with both Defense Minister Michel Menassa and Interior Minister Ahmed Hajjar.
