Grand Mufti Derian discusses bilateral relations with Qatari Minister of Education

Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, welcomed Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, at Dar al-Fatwa.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and embassy officials.
Discussions reportedly focused on Lebanese and Arab affairs and strengthening relations between the two countries.
Mufti Derian emphasized “the importance of Qatar’s role in supporting Lebanon’s recovery” and commended “the efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar in backing Lebanon’s legitimate institutions.”
