Rajji discusses Maronite villages in Northern Cyprus with Turkish Ambassador

Minister of Foreign Affairs Yousef Rajji received Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon Murat Lütem with whom he discussed the issue of the four Maronite villages in northern Cyprus and the condition of their residents.
Minister Rajji handed the ambassador an official memorandum on the matter.
Rajji further expressed his hope that “the Turkish government will give this issue the necessary support and attention to enable the villagers to return to their homes and to work toward a sustainable solution to this humanitarian issue.”
The pair also held in-depth discussions on the situation in Syria in all its dimensions.
