UNIFIL denies reports of peacekeepers asking evacuations in south Lebanon

UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti said, “Reports about UNIFIL peacekeepers informing LAF and asking people in Aita ash Shaab and other villages in south Lebanon to evacuate their homes are untrue and baseless.”
“UNIFIL continues to work in support of the Lebanese Armed Forces as they re-deploy across south Lebanon,” added Tenenti.
