Earlier, we reported that President Trump blocked a planned Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear sites in favour of negotiating a nuclear deal with Tehran, according to unnamed White House officials.
Responding to that story, National Unity party leader Benny Gantz has said Israel “must and can strike Iran”.
“The Iranian Regime are experts at stalling,” Gantz said in a post on X. “The State of Israel must, and can remove the prospect of Iranian nuclear capabilities.”
“Coordinating closely with our great ally the United States, it is time to change the Middle East,” he added.
