French Ambassador: Passing Banking Secrecy Law promising step toward reforms

French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro wrote on his X account that the approval of the Banking Secrecy Law by Parliament represents "a promising step on the path of economic and financial reforms."

He added that, "Restoring confidence in the banking sector also requires, in the next stage, the adoption of the draft law on banking sector reform.”
