Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has said that the situation in Gaza is “a stain on the conscience of the entire world”.
Speaking at the Global Security Forum in Doha, Sheikh Mohammed said “the death of children from hunger and cold is exploited as a tool to achieve narrow political objectives”.
Meanwhile, “an entire population is besieged and denied the most basic rights to receive aid, without any accountability”.
He added that Qatar would continue – in coordination with Egypt, the US and other regional partners – to try to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and ensure humanitarian aid reaches Palestinians.
