A multi-story old house housing three families collapsed west of Asyut, Egypt, resulting in the death of a child and the injury of seven people.
According to the details of the incident, Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Asyut Security, received a notification from the emergency operations room. Immediately, police, ambulance, and civil protection teams were dispatched to the site. It was found that three people had escaped at the beginning of the building's collapse.
The teams managed to rescue seven people who were trapped under the rubble and transported them to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, civil protection forces recovered the body of a child, the last victim, from under the collapsed building in Asyut.
