Salam: Lebanon Ready to Ensure Safety of Arab Visitors

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held a meeting with the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, attended by Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari, Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to Lebanon Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saeedi, Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Lebanon Fahed Al Kaabi, and Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait Yassine Mohammed Al-Majed.
The meeting was also attended by Lebanon's Minister of Defense Michel Menassa, Minister of Tourism Laura Khazen, Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajjar, and Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny.
Following the meeting, Premier Salam said during a press conference, "We were informed of their concerns and assured them that we would work to address them. I also briefed them on the security changes taking place at and around Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport."
Salam added, "The security services are ready to ensure the safety and security of our Arab brothers during the summer."
