Salam inspects border watchtower in Bou Fares with key Ministers, Army officials

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam accompanied by Minister of Defense Michel Menassa, Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajjar, Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, and Lebanese Army Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Audi, visited the observation tower at the Bou Fares border post on the Lebanese-Syrian frontier.
During the visit, Prime Minister Salam was briefed on the security measures implemented by the Lebanese Army to monitor and control the border and prevent illegal crossings and smuggling activities.
