Security Forces detain suspect in voter intimidation case in Chekka

Following a complaint received by the State Security Office in Batroun, authorities detained a supporter of one of the electoral lists in Chekka for allegedly confiscating the ID cards of a man and his wife to secure their votes for the list he supports.

Both the suspect and the complainant were taken in for questioning and remain in custody pending investigation.
