First images of the Trump and al-Sharaa meeting in Riyadh

The first photos have been released showing US President Donald Trump and his Syrian counterpart Ahmad al-Sharaa during their meeting on the sidelines of the US-Gulf summit in Riyadh.

The meeting brought together Trump, al-Sharaa, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan joining through the phone.

Also present were US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his Syrian counterpart Asaad al-Shibani.
