Parliament doubles penalty for celebratory gunfire

Parliament approved the expedited draft law aimed at amending Law No. 71 dated October 27, 2016 (criminalizing celebratory gunfire), after adopting the amendment proposed by MP Ashraf Baydoun to double the penalty for those who fire gunshots into the air.
