Morcos welcomes decision to toughen penalties on celebratory gunfire

Minister of Information Paul Morcos wrote on X: "Further to my previous statement on May 12, I welcome Parliament’s approval, during a session attended by the government, of legislation to double the penalty for celebratory gunfire. This is an additional deterrent and an important step toward curbing such reckless practices and holding perpetrators accountable."
