Berri Convenes Joint Parliamentary Committees for May 20 Session

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri called for a joint session of the parliamentary committees on Finance and Budget; Administration and Justice; National Defense, Interior, and Municipalities; and Public Health, Labor, and Social Affairs.
The session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11:00 am to discuss the following agenda:
• Draft law on the use and protection of the Lebanese Red Cross emblem
• Draft law regulating the Lebanese Red Cross
• Draft law establishing a mandatory comprehensive primary healthcare system
• Draft law on the election of Members of Parliament
• Draft law on the election of Members of the Senate
• Draft law known as the Orthodox Gathering proposal
• Draft law amending the parliamentary electoral law
