Salam chairs meeting of ministerial committee tasked with improving conditions of military personnel

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam chaired at the Grand Serail, a meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with improving the conditions of active-duty and retired military personnel.
The committee comprises Finance Minister Yassin Jaber, National Defense Minister Michel Menassa, Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmed Hajjar, and Labor Minister Mohammed Haidar.
It was agreed to continue discussing the issue next week, with a decision to be made before the end of the month in light of the study being prepared by the Ministry of Finance.
