Geagea hails Zahle’s electoral stand, says sovereignty remains unshakable

Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea praised the people of Zahle for reaffirming their commitment to sovereignty and the Lebanese state, following his party’s electoral victory in the city.
Speaking from Maarab, Geagea saluted Zahle’s residents for their “clear and resolute stance,” saying, “Zahle stood alone against all others, choosing martyrs, sovereignty, and Lebanon first. No one will be able to breach it, now or ever.”
Geagea described the Lebanese Forces’ electoral performance as a “double score” win against all other political forces, calling it a qualitative victory for the city and its loyal citizens.
Looking ahead, Geagea emphasized that while the municipal election battle is over, a new day begins in Zahle.
“The political confrontation with Hezbollah continues, grounded in our unwavering sovereign principles,” Geagea said, adding that preserving parity in Beirut remains a cornerstone of national partnership.
