Jaber reviews SDR funds audit with Audit Court Chief

Minister of Finance Yassine Jaber met with President of the Court of Audit, Judge Mohammad Badran, who submitted a detailed report on the management of Special Drawing Rights (SDR) funds, including legal violations related to the fund’s disbursement and usage.
Judge Badran also briefed the minister on the progress made in auditing past financial accounts, which remain pending.
The two sides agreed on allocating additional financial compensation for the Court’s staff to intensify audit efforts, with the aim of finalizing all outstanding accounts through the end of 2024—a prerequisite for drafting and approving the 2026 state budget.
