Salam on Liberation Day: I affirm Lebanon's right to self-defense

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam considered that Liberation Day is marked this year with incomplete joy until all our lands are liberated from the Israeli occupation.
He wrote on his X account:
"On this occasion, I reiterate and affirm the government's commitment, in its ministerial statement, to the following principles:
- The necessity of taking all needed measures to liberate all Lebanese lands from the Israeli occupation and extend the state's sovereignty over all its territories, with its own forces, in accordance with the Taif Accord
- Lebanon's right to self-defense in the event of any aggression, in accordance with the United Nations Charter
- Reconstructing what was destroyed by the Israeli aggression by mobilizing Arab and international support to achieve this goal."
