Salam: Lebanon Has Made Its Decision Clear

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam reaffirmed efforts to mobilize the necessary support for reconstruction, noting that “Lebanon has made a clear decision to return to the Arab fold.”
Following a meeting with the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, he stated: “Lebanon has gone through a deep crisis over the past 5 years; its situation has worsened with the Israeli aggression, and these successive crises have served as a driving force for implementing reforms,” stressing that “recovery can only be achieved through comprehensive reform.”
Salam pointed out that “the government has developed a reform vision based on achieving financial and economic stability, strengthening governance, revitalizing institutions, and investing in people,” adding that it is also working to “attract high-quality investments.”
“We see the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development as a natural partner, and we need long-term strategic partnerships that promote stability and development,” he said.
