Salam meets Al-Azhar Grand Imam, extends invitation to visit Lebanon

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb in Dubai, where the two discussed developments in Lebanon and the broader region. During the meeting, Salam extended an invitation to the Grand Imam to visit Lebanon, a proposal warmly welcomed and promised "soon" by Sheikh Al-Tayeb.

The discussion highlighted the critical importance of promoting a culture of dialogue and openness, and of confronting extremism and intolerance.
