Parliamentary Finance Committee reviews judicial aid, end-of-service settlements, and war-related exemptions

The Finance and Budget Committee, chaired by MP Ibrahim Kanaan, convened in the presence of Minister of Finance Yassine Jaber, and Minister of Justice Adel Nassar.
The session focused on examining a proposed additional credit of 2,010,000,000,000 LBP in the state budget to fund a contribution to the Judges’ Mutual Aid Fund.
Also on the agenda were a proposed fair settlement for end-of-service indemnities under the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and a draft law granting exemptions from taxes, fees, and related deadlines for individuals affected by the Israeli war on Lebanon.
