Salameh discusses upcoming UNAOC visit, joint event with Spanish Ambassador

Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh, met with Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesús Santos Aguado, at the National Library in Sanayeh, to discuss bilateral cultural cooperation and preparations for the upcoming visit of UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), Miguel Ángel Moratinos, scheduled for next week.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Aguado announced that discussions also focused on the joint Lebanese-Spanish cultural-political event titled “The Impact of Culture on Geopolitics”, set to take place at noon on June 14 at the National Library. The event will feature addresses by Moratinos and Minister Salamé.
The two sides also reviewed ongoing collaborative projects between Lebanon and Spain in the cultural sector.
