Berri leads a series of meetings

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received former Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh.
Discussions focused on the overall situation in Lebanon and the latest political and security developments.
Speaker Berri also met with Mohammad el-Hout, Chairman and Director General of Middle East Airlines (MEA), who briefed him on the company’s operations and the challenges it faces, particularly in maintaining Lebanon’s vital air connectivity amid ongoing national difficulties. Berri commended MEA’s leadership and staff for their continued dedication.
Later in the afternoon, Speaker Berri welcomed Hajj Hamed Al-Khafaaf, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani in Lebanon.
Separately, Berri received a letter of appreciation from Ousmane Dione, Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa region.
