Barrack: Hezbollah Is a Terrorist Organization, Israel Cannot Be Forced to Act

US envoy Tom Barrack confirmed that "the issue of disarming Hezbollah is internal," noting that "Washington considers Hezbollah a terrorist organization with which it will not negotiate, and we are discussing with the government how to assist and provide guidance to restore stability and peace to the region."
Barrack, speaking after his meeting with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Grand Serail, pointed out that "America cannot force Israel to do anything," adding, "We are not currently considering imposing sanctions on Lebanon."
Regarding the situation in Syria, Barrack said, "America is responding to developments in Sweida with incredible concern, pain, sympathy, and assistance," calling for "holding the Syrian government accountable."
