Aoun meets Head of Evangelical community in Syria and Lebanon

President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, stressed during his meeting with the head of the Evangelical community in Syria and Lebanon, Rev. Joseph Kassab, that "the current stage is delicate and sensitive, and requires national awareness and unified positions that preserve the unity of Lebanon, its land and its people, and protect its sovereignty and independence."

President Aoun pointed out that "contacts are ongoing to address the repercussions of current events in a number of countries in the region, in order to avoid their impact on Lebanon."
