August 4 Declared Day of Mourning for Beirut Port Blast

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a memorandum declaring Monday, August 4, 2025, a national day of mourning to mark the anniversary of the Beirut Port explosion.
Flags will be flown at half-mast across public administrations, institutions, and municipalities. In addition, regular programming on radio and television stations will be adjusted to reflect the somber occasion, in solidarity with the families of the fallen and the wounded.
