Salam receives delegations from border villages, UNICEF, and Palestinian Ambassador

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received a delegation from the municipalities of Rmeish, Ain Ebel, Debel, and Qouzah at the Grand Serail.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Father Najib Al-Amil highlighted the residents’ resilience during recent hostilities and thanked the Prime Minister for pledging support for key infrastructure and agricultural development projects.
The delegation also raised concerns over essential service shortages, particularly in Rmeish, home to around 6,500 residents and 1,000 Syrian refugees.
Later, Salam met with UNICEF’s new representative in Lebanon, Marcoluigi Corsi, to discuss the agency’s ongoing programs aligned with government priorities and inter-agency cooperation.
Salam also received Palestinian Ambassador Ashraf Dabbour, accompanied by Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee Chair Ramzi Dmaschkieh, for a farewell visit marking the end of Dabbour’s tenure. The Prime Minister presented him with a commemorative gift.
Additionally, Salam held talks with Charles Arbid, President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council, on socio-economic developments and council initiatives.
