Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar wrote on X:
“Eighty years of honor, sacrifice, and loyalty. Our army is the guarantee in times of uncertainty, the steadfast anchor in times of transformation. It is the emblem of sovereignty and the cornerstone of the state in asserting its authority over all its territory.
A salute to every soldier, every officer, and every martyr who fell in defense of Lebanon.
Happy Army Day to the Lebanese Army and to the nation.”
