Minister of Justice to MTV: We will demand a timeline for the handover of weapons, and it is unacceptable for Hezbollah to drag the Lebanese people into suicide with it

Justice Minister, lawyer Adel Nassar, confirmed that several scenarios are on the table for today’s session, including allowing more time for discussion and postponing the decision on the weapons issue to another session scheduled for Thursday.
In an interview with MTV, Nassar pointed out that he has not yet reviewed Ambassador Tom Barrack’s paper, revealing that he will demand a timeline for the handover of Hezbollah’s weapons during the session.
Nassar said: “We hope the conscience of Hezbollah’s leaders awakens, so they hand over their weapons and we can build the state together. But if they insist on keeping them, it is unacceptable for them to drag the Lebanese people into suicide with them.”
