Army Warning: Do Not Jeopardize the Country’s Security

The following statement was issued by the Army Command – Directorate of Orientation:
“In light of the exceptional challenges Lebanon is currently facing, particularly the ongoing Israeli enemy attacks and violations of national sovereignty, alongside the delicate security situation, calls have appeared on social media by individuals to organize protest movements, as well as the circulation of fabricated videos aimed at stirring tension among citizens.
The Army Command warns citizens against endangering the country’s security through actions with unpredictable consequences.
While respecting the right to peaceful freedom of expression, the army will not allow any breach of security, disturbance of public order, road blockages, or violations of public and private property. It stresses the necessity for all citizens and parties to act responsibly during this difficult phase and emphasizes the importance of their unity and solidarity to overcome the threats facing our country.”
