They warned of the risk of fires. The heatwave is expected to ease starting Friday, August 15, through Sunday, August 17, with temperatures dropping to around 35°C inland and 27°C on the coast.
By Monday, August 18, the heatwave will subside completely, with temperatures returning to average levels of about 32°C inland and 28°C on the coast.
