A fuel tanker truck veered off the Faitroun–Kfardebian road and fell into a nearby valley, resulting in its destruction.
Civil defense and Red Cross teams rushed to the scene, using ropes to rescue the driver and another passenger.
According to the National News Agency, it is believed that both may have died.
