Dar Al-Fatwa announces Prophet’s Birthday on September 4

In an official statement, Dar Al-Fatwa announced that the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (Mawlid al-Nabawi) will fall on Thursday, 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to September 4, 2025.
Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, extended his warm greetings to all Lebanese, particularly Muslims, on this blessed occasion. He emphasized that the Prophet’s life embodies the values of brotherhood, mercy, love, and moral excellence, praying that peace, stability, and security prevail in Lebanon and the region.
