Army Chief discusses with US congressional delegation ways to support army

Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, received at his Yarzeh office, a high-level US congressional delegation, including Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Lindsey Graham, Representative Joe Wilson, in addition to US Envoy Ambassador Tom Barrack, and Deputy Special Presidential Envoy to the Middle East Morgan Ortagus, in the presence of US Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, discussions covered the general situation and developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to support the army in light of current challenges.
