An unprecedented US delegation, including five senior officials and their aides, arrived in Beirut, highlighting the city’s political scene.
The US presidential envoy Tom Barrack, coming from Damascus and previously from Israel, was not only accompanied by Deputy US Envoy Morgan Ortagus but also led a US delegation headed by Senator Jeanne Shaheen, with participation from Senator Lindsey Graham and US Congressman Joe Wilson.
